Join Tareef Cycling Club and Armin Kohli for 100 km ride this Friday, Nov. 16 th from Jaber border to Amman, and on Monday, November 18th; from Amman through Madaba – Mount Nebo to the Dead Sea. Armin Kohli’s cycling challenge from Lake Geneva to the Dead Sea, covers 4800 Kilometers by bike across 13 countries.
The Kingdom of Jordan and Tareef Cycling Club are honored to host this double amputee and exceptional cyclist Armin Kohli, as he takes on this feat across Europe and the Middle East. He departed Geneva, Switzerland at the beginning of October and will arrive in Jordan on November 16th, where the 8 th Meeting of State Parties to the Ottawa Convention against landmines is due to take place. The Tareef Cycling Club will join him for the Jordan leg of the trip, welcoming him at the border and escorting him to Amman.
The Tareef Cycling Team, founded in 1982 and developed into an active welcome group in August of 2007 by former Jordanian National Team Cyclists. We provide fun active weekend trips, supporting all levels of fitness. We are honored to host such an event and invite interested cyclists to join us.

Tareef Cycling Club will welcome Armin Kohli at the border @ 10:00 and begin riding to Amman through Jerash Road.
15:00: Estimated Time of Arrival
There will be rest points every 20 km.
Pick ups and buses are available who choose not to
complete the entire distance
