Creative Commons (CC) is holding a conference in Amman on October 29th at the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Business Forum. The Conference will feature a speech by Ziad Maraqa, CC lead in Jordan who has just finished the translation of the licenses into Arabic (public discussion on the draft can be read here) , as well as a speech by Joi Ito, the CEO of the organization and well-known, web 2.0 entrepreneur, who just appeared in Business Week as one among the 25 most influential men on the Internet.
