It is in fact heart-wrenching that this situation is still ongoing.

It painful to see TV interviews of children having to speak with such depth of emotion on ‘adult’ matters like injustice.

They have been robbed of any modicum of normalcy. Raped of their very childhood & right to innocence.

Generations to come will only know talk of hate & revenge.

Having said that….if you were held siege & bombed for 20 days straight with no food, medicine, shelter or hope of escape….surrounded by rotting corpses of your family & maimed bodies – how deeply would your psychological scars run?

Our children are talented. They have dreams & aspirations like the children of any other nation. More so they have a right to be free.

What will it take for our eyes to ‘see’ what is being done to them in the name of politics.

The cost of these barbaric actions will reverberate in the psyche of generations to come.

But then again, perhaps that was the intention all along.

Hey Suzy I believe that some of the media is kinda biased. Even the CNN news channel released that it was Israel who broke the ceasefire first. Enough fighting whose fault it is. In addition after the UN declaration for ceasefire. You should read Nicholas Kristoff column in the NYT link

When the war casualties on the Israeli side are soldiers (13 soldiers so far NO CIVILIANS and 120 wounded ) and on the Palestinian side (802 dead of which more than half are civilian, YES civilian as infants, children, women, reporters, medics???? AND 3300 wounded) LET the stats speak for themselves.

Do not say that say that civilians are being used as shields by Hamas, because even John Ging the executive manger of the ENRWA in Gaza Stated that there were no militants in that school. Evidence

Its so sad and painful to try and understand all what s happening- Israelis want revenge over what happened in Lebanon- trying to erase the shame – trying to prove to the world that what happened in 2996 is the exception and they can still considered the strongest army in the world-it s funny the strongest army in the world exercising their might against helpless women and children in Gaza -Oh i 4got the rockets hamas rockets which is trigger of all this but how many Israelis are killed and how many palestinians just think w me and decide who is the aggressor and who is the victim
