Around 300 Jordanians marched from Saladdin Mosque to the Prime Ministry after Friday prayers yesterday to protest the latest Israeli measures in Al-Aqsa mosque and Jerusalem. Gathering across the street from the Prime Ministry, the protestors chanted slogans denouncing Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas and Arab governments and cheering for Hamas.

They criticized the Jordanian public gatherings law and said that no law or obstacle would stop them from expressing their support for Al-Aqsa. The government refused to grant a license for the protest, but it did not stop it. Anti-riot police stood across the street and watched.
