يوم الجمعة. المكان: السوق الشعبي في العبدلي. الزمان: الساعة السادسة والنصف صباحاً.
قد يكون الناس في أجزاء أخرى من عمان نياما في هذه الساعة من عطلة نهاية الأسبوع، ولكن النشاط يبدأ مبكرا جدا في سوق العبدلي، والمتسوقون يبدأون بالتوافد منذ ساعات الصباح الأولى، حتى وإن كان الباعة ما يزالون يتثاءبون.
Friday. Abdali Market. 6:30 am.
The rest of Amman is most likely asleep at this hour on a weekend, but activity starts very early at the Abdali Friday market where shoppers start arriving in the wee hours of the morning, even as sellers are still waking up.
i buy my clothes from abdali market. i usually go for the name-brand material. only the expensive brands!
also, i look like this all the time!
the abdali souk is just another thing we take for granted in jordan. i see these guys setting up their stalls at 3am on a thursday night/friday morning…only to have to work all day friday. many of the sellers are kids.
