إذا ذهبت لمنطقة شارع الرينبو مساء يوم جمعة  ستشهد العدد الكبير من الناس من مختلف الأعمار والخلفيات يرتادون الشارع لزيارة سوق جارا والتمشي والاستمتاع بالجلسات المتعددة التي توفرها المقاهي المنتشرة على طول الشارع والتي ازداد عددها منذ أن أنهت الأمانة في السنوات الأخيرة مشروع إعادة تأهيل الرينبو.

ولا شك أنك ستشهد أيضا الأزمة المرورية الخانقة، هذه الأزمة التي احتج عليها سكان المنطقة وقدموا بخصوصها كتابا إلى أمين عمان يطالبون بإجراءات لحل مشكلتهم.

ما رأيك في هذا الموضوع؟ ماذا يمكن للأمانة أن تفعل لتخفف معاناة سكان منطقة الدوار الأول وتحافظ في نفس الوقت على هذا الحيز العام الذي يستقطب العمانيين والسياح على مختلف خلفياتهم وأذواقهم وأعمارهم؟

If you go to Rainbow Street on a Friday afternoon or evening, you will witness the large number of people of all ages and backgrounds who go there to visit Souq Jara and enjoy all that the street has to offer with the numerous sidewalk cafes that have opened there in recent years and the expanded public spaces since the municipality completed its urban regeneration project in the area.

You will also witness the suffocating traffic jam that makes driving through the street on Friday night a painful experience. Jabal Amman residents have been complaining about this traffic jam for a while, and 290 of them just signed a letter presented to the mayor in which they voiced their complaint and demanded that the municipality take action to solve their problem.
