Kamal Musallam

When you’re not watching the World Cup semi finals this week, you have a range of interesting events to enjoy and help you deal with football withdrawal. This month’s concert by the Amman Arab Music Ensemble features compositions by Sabah Fakhri, the Jordan Festival brings you Il Divo and Pink Martini, and a special little show is taking place at Las Tapas tomorrow with musician Kamal Musallam visiting town and jamming with Yacoub Abu Ghosh and Tareq Abu Kwaik.

The Royal Cultural Center has been hosting a lot of theater lately, and this week you have a Jordanian play directed by Shaban Hameed on show for three nights. You also have an exhibition of contemporary art by Shereen Audi and Ahmad Sabbagh and Typism opening at Zara tomorrow.
