Events in Amman, Feb 6 – 12

This week, the Amman Arab Music Ensemble’s monthly concert is a tribute to the great Egyptian composer and musician Mohammad Al-Kasabji; Washington DC-based Muslim hip hop group Native Deen performs in Amman, at the Hussein Cultural Center; and Al-Balad Theater hosts a tribute to the late Jordanian author Mo’ness Al-Razzaz.

You also have Amman’s weekly regulars; jazz on Sunday, lecture at Shoman on Monday, jazz/funk fusion on Tuesday, Bayt al-Ruwwad on Wednesday, and the Jordan Astronomical Society’s activities on Thursday. This week we include ongoing exhibitions  in our outlook; there are ten different exhibitions taking place at galleries around town, so be sure to check out details below.
