The Jerash Festival continues to be the highlight of the month; this week it features Omar Khayrat, Le Trio Jubran, Wust El Balad, dance performances, poetry readings, theater, and a lot more. (More info here).

The Royal Film Commission is screening 18 Days, a collection of short fiction films on the Egyptian revolution, in the presence of producer Fadi Fahim.

7iber’s Hashtag Debates are back, this time with a discussion on reform challenges in Jordan and whether current efforts are enough, with Dr. Marwan Muasher. The event will be live streamed by JordanDays, and you send your comments and questions live using the twitter hashtag #hashtagdebates or in advance via email to editor[at]7iber[dot]com.

7iber’s book club, Inkitab, is holding a discussion of Ibrahim Nasrallah’s “Shame Balcony”, this Tuesday at Bayt Baladna. You can join the book club and stay tuned for future discussions and book-related activities.
