Live Blog: Jordan Parliamentary Elections 2013

January 23, 2013

Today, Jordanians go to the polls to vote for the first Parliamentary elections since the Arab Spring began, and the third such elections since 2007. The various political events of the past two years have now culminated in an election that has long been touted by the Jordanian state as the hallmark of political reform. However, the elections also face boycotts by the Islamic Action Front and various opposition groups throughout the Kingdom as well as general voter apathy. This live blog will seek to curate and document Election Day, including the good, the bad, and the interesting.
