أين وصلت حرية التعبيرعلى الإنترنت في لبنان؟
ماذا تعني ملفات إدوارد سنودن للحكومات، الدول، والمستخدمين في المنطقة العربية؟
هل هناك عنف ضد المرأة على الانترنت؟ كيف نحدده؟ كيف نحاربه؟
هذه هي الأسئلة التي سنسألها في فعالية (من السياسة الى اللعب: ما هو الويب الذي نريد؟) ببساطة، هذه الفعالية هي حوار عن الانترنت: سياساته، بنيته التحتية، وألعاب السلطة حوله. سنتخيل أيضا كمستخدمين ومنتجين ويب يحاكي احتياجاتنا وحقوقنا الشخصية والمجتمعية. لذا، إن كان الشيئ الذي تقوم/تقومين به لحظة فتح عينيك في السرير هو الوصول إلى شيء … أي شيء .. للإتصال بالإنترنت، انضم/انضمي إلى هذا الحوار.
سيقدم هذه الفعالية أحمد شهاب الدين، بتنظيم من قبل (مؤسسة تبادل الإعلام الإجتماعي) SMEX, مؤسسة حبر، مؤسسة الويب الذي نريد (WWW)، مؤسسة الجبهة الرقمية (EFF)، ورابطة الاتصالات المتقدمة (APC)، وسوف تسري كما يلي:

Where are we when it comes to online freedom of expression in Lebanon?
What do the Snowden files mean to states, governments, and users in the Arab Region?
Is there sexist and sexual cyber violence against women? How do we identify it? How do we fight it?
These are the questions that we will ask at “From Policy to Play: What is the Internet We Want?”. Simply, this public event is a conversation about the Internet: it’s policies, its infrastructure, and power play. We will also envision as users and developers a web that speaks to our personal and communal rights. So, if the thing you do right after you open your eyes in bed is reaching out to something…anything.. to connect online, join this conversation.
