12 graffiti artists meet up and decide to spray their styles on canvas at FADA 317.

Is graffiti a visual escape for the graffiti artist himself/herself or is it an escape that they offer to others?

The Sub Culture artists are (in alphabetical order):

Each graffiti artist was given two canvases, compliments of Samir & Ghassan.

Sub Culture is a visual extension of the identity of these 12 artists.

On the large piece (100 x 150 cm) each artist will draw his/her main theme. The smaller one (35 x 50 cm) will bear their signature and tag.

Sub Culture is our way to show people the underground … and the path to another way of life through a spray can and a wall, or in the case of this show through canvas.
