اندلعت اشتباكات في ميدان التحرير ليلة ٢٨ حزيران يونيو بين قوات الشرطة ومتظاهرين تجمعوا قرب وزارة الداخلية للمطالبة بتسريع محاكمة المسؤولين عن قتلى ثورة ٢٥ يناير. قوات مكافحة الشغب استعملت الغاز المسيل للدموع لتفريق المتظاهرين الذين رد عدد منهم بإلقاء الحجارة والطوب على الشرطة. الصور التالية التقطت يوم أمس ٢٩ حزيران يونيو ما بين العاشرة والنصف صباحا والثانية بعد الظهر تقريبا. وزير الصحة المصري أمس قال بأن عدد الإصابات نتيجة اشتباكات اليومين الماضيين تجاوز الألف.

يبدو العنوان مستفزًا ومستثيرًا لمشاعر الحنق، فكلمة مبارك تغضب الكثير الأن لأنه كما يرون " قد أذل ملايين المصريين وأفقرهم وجوعهم وقتل بداخلهم العزة والكرامة " قد أختلف معهم أو أكون متفقــًا لكنني لن أعبر رأيي تجاه هذه المسألة حتى لا أوجه القارئ .

لكنني حقــًا أود أن أتقدم بالشكر للسيد حسني مبارك ، المواطن المصري الذي ولد عام 1928 ، وعاش ظروف حالكة في هذا الوطن بدءًا من الحكم الملكي مرورًا بانهاء الإحتلال البريطاني حتى الفترة الناصرية ونهاية بالسادات حتى جاء وتولى الرئاسة لمدة حوالي 30 عامـــًا:

Reliable eye witnesses in Cairo confirm that Egyptian blogger and activist SandMonkey was arrested today in Tahrir Square while he was taking medical supplies to protesters. This is the last post he published earlier this morning. I don't know how to start writing this. بينما كانت طائرات «إف 16» تقوم بطلعات مريبة فوق ميدان التحرير في القاهرة، كان التلفزيون الأردني يبثّ رسوماً متحرّكة بسلام لأطفال وأهالٍ مطمئنين! ليس ثمّة ما يشغل بال التلفزيون الأردني في هذه الأيام إلا «تجمّع أكثر من ألف متظاهر في ميدان التحرير» كما يظهر في شريط الأخبار أسفل الشاشة ذاتها، مذيّلاً بأن الخبر منقول عن وكالة «رويترز».

في ظلّ غياب تعليقات أردنيّة رسميّة على الانتفاضة المصريّة، لا يجد التلفزيون ما يتحدّث عنه. على مدى عقود، خلقت الممارسات الإعلاميّة «المرعوبة» ـــــ على حدّ تعبير رئيس الوزراء الأسبق عبد الرؤوف الروابدة ـــــ كل أنواع البدائل. في الأردن، هناك موسيقى بديلة، وإعلام بديل، وحتى متنبّئ بديل للطقس.
