Two interesting music performances are taking place tomorrow; Jordanian group "Pink Floyd String Quartet" is playing at Canvas, and El Far3i (Tareq Abu Kwaik) along with DJ Sotusoura are performing for the third time at Books@ Cafe before they head off to Beirut for a show next week. This week's agenda is packed, thanks mainly to the the Jordan International Theater Festival, which kicks off tomorrow and features at least four different plays daily from Jordan and abroad. You also have the long-awaited ballet performance of Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty in its Russian version, starting on Saturday and showing for a week at the Hussein Cultural Center. مقيدا بالأغلال يشكي ضيق حاله و يتساءل عن جدوى انسانيته ،أطيافا لمستقبل قد يكون يرقصون على موسيقى "عمر الفقير" الخلابة كحلم ...يسمع سخسمندو "موسى السطري "الأمير المقيد  صوتا رؤوفا مؤونسه بوحدته ..يتمنى رؤيته . بعد تردد تريه نفسها كلتالديا"نهى سمارة" و تتنازع بين رأفتها به وولائها لسيدتها الكبرى "سوزان كساب "و ترحل .

تتنازعان على الكرسي، أستريا "أريج دبابنة" و أستولفا "ايمان ياسين"، تنافقان بعضهما للوصول الى مرماهما .تجلا السيدة الكبرى و تتملقا لها ، فهي مملكة نسائية اذا ..لكنها تخبرهما ان ابنها ما زال حيا و أنها سجنته خوفا من تحقق النبؤة بأن يكون طاغية . هل يمكن ان تبني مستقبلا كاملا على حلم ...او على نبوءة ؟ وهل خوفها من ان يكون طاغية قد يجعلها طاغية؟ فتخبر "كلتالديا" بخطتها بأن تخدر ابنها ليصحوا و يجد نفسه أميرا و ان كان...

This is an exciting week as far as Amman's events calendar goes; one of Germany's leading rock bands, Die Toten Hosen, are playing in Amman this Saturday, with an opening performance by El Morabba3. The European Film Festival, which started yesterday, offers two screenings daily of some highly acclaimed films, along with some Jordanian short films and side activities. It's a great week for book worms, as the Amman International Book Fair continues, Al Hannouneh group hosts author Ibrahim Nasrallah for a discussion of his award-winning book "Time of the White Horses," and the European Day of Languages is celebrated at the different European cultural institutes by a joint exhibition of books as well as readings of literary texts. تمتلء القاعة بالحضور فاليوم هو يوم افتتاح موسم الصيف المسرحي وبعد المقدمات والترحيب بالمشاركين . و بالأذهان السؤال : كيف سيكون العرض ؟

تفتح الستارة و الأذهان متربصة ... فلنحتفل بالجوكر ...رمز الحب والحياة، فلنقم الحفلة على شرفه -- لكن دعونا لا نشركه في احتفالنا .هو الحب ولكن الحب لن يكون له مكان الا المنصة ..

أوراق اللعب تود ان تقدم لجوكرها حفلا تمثيليا لمسرحية برخت أوبرا بثلاث قروش، فنكون في الأحداث و نكون في القصة ونكون البروفة وايضا يستخدمنا الممثلين في شكوى حالهم ...

مع انطلاق افتتاح  موسم الصيف للمسرحي الأردني اليوم ، تتسارع التحضيرات والاعادات والتدريب للمسرحيات القادمة .

تضطرب  نبضات القلب، تتوالي فناجين القهوة، ويطول السهر، هناك شغف، قلق وتوتر ... رغبة بتحقيق رؤية وضعها قائد العمل. هناك ايضا ثقة وعزم على اثبات الذات.

كان لقاؤنا أنا وسمر سرحان مع فريق عمل "الحياة حلم" في جمعية الابداع الاردنية حيث يقيم فريق العمل ذات الاغلبية الشابة البروفات مع المخرج القدير الاستاذ حسين نافع الذي اخرج للمسرح الأردني مسرحيات عدة :"برما"، "سالومي"، "الأنسة جوليا" ،"قبعتان ورأس واحدة " وكان أخرها "عرس الدم " للوركا الذي شاركته فيه أيضا نهى سمارة، التي تشارك أيضا في هذا العمل بدور كلتالديا المربية . ولكن لم يتسن لنا لقاؤها.

تسنا لنا مشاهدة بعض المقاطع، وأصدقكم القول أن الحماسة بدأت تجري في شراييني، بدأت اتخيل...

This week's agenda features a storytelling and puppet show night, poetry reading at Mohtaraf Remal, live gigs by local musicians, Farida's Iraqi Maqam ensemble, cycling nights, Ramadan comedy shows, and more.
