Bader Mahasneh was born in Jerash-Jordan in 1977. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree from Yarmouk University in 2002, the artist pursued his early art passion as he became a member at the painting studio at Yarmouk University and won third prize of young artists competition the same year. Shortly after, Bader became involved in many workshops as he took part in designing the décor of the University theatre in 2002-2004 and made sculptures of snow and fire in winter 2003. In the year 2006, Bader participated in several print making workshops at the National Gallery in Amman-Jordan.
The artist also participated in several group exhibitions in Jordan namely at the City Hall, Orient Gallery and Zara Gallery and featured his artwork in group exhibitions in Syria, Yemen and Thailand. He also featured his work in four solo exhibitions worldwide.

During this exhibition, Bader Mahasneh will present his most recent artwork which he started developing in 2007, which entails a number of paintings and sculptures that reflect man and his place in space and connection with God. The artist combined rough surfaces and illuminated copper figures and industrial substances with Polyester. By adapting various materials, Bader was successful in portraying the dilemma of the person’s ties to the modern world and the shout for breaking into ones intrinsic natural state of autonomy. Bader brilliantly managed to put across his idea of this human dilemma through the material resources that he used in his artwork in a way which gave the viewer a unique and transparent experience.

This exhibition is part of the mission of Zara Gallery and its commitment to the contemporary art movement in which it strives to play host to many young, as well as accomplished artistic talents, in the hope of creating rich cultural and artistic exchange on local and regional levels.
