Starting today, and every Sunday morning, we’ll have a post about events for the week ahead in Amman. It is by no means a comprehensive arts and culture list, and it will not replace the calendar. It’s just a round up from 7iber’s self-proclaimed culture vulture. Feel free to drop us a line at editor[at]7iber[dot[com] if you know of interesting events coming up around town.

November promises to be a busy month in Amman’s arts and culture scene; from the European Film Festival, to the Jordanian Short Film Festival, and the Jordan Theater Festival, along with a good number of concerts that cater to different musical tastes, you’re bound to find something to do every evening until Eid Al-Adha.

So without further ado, events for the week of November 1st to November 7th:
November 1 – November 5
Petra Rocks – Theater Musical
This is supposedly the first of its kind in Jordan – a huge colorful musical theater production that will bring together some of Jordan’s best talents. We’ll hopefully watch it and give you a better insight soon, or better yet, if any of you out there is going to watch, take a camera and be a citizen journalist with 7iber.
