Events in Amman, Jan 10 – 16

الأحد 10 كانون الثاني 2010

If you’re interested in architecture and urban planning, you’re in for a treat this week; there are two very interesting lectures taking place – the first by renowned architect and writer Michael Sorkin titled Eutopia Now, and the second by Columbia University Professors Alfredo Brillembourg and Hubert Klumpner, on their past experiences directing the SLUM Lab project in parts of Latin America.

There’s music to satisfy every taste this week – from western classical, to Jazz, classical Arabic music (tarab), and hip hop. There are a number of exhibition openings, film screenings, stand up comedy Open Mic Night from Talasim, and more.

If there’s any event you know of that we’ve missed, drop us a line or add it directly to 7iber’s google calendar. And if you go to any of these events and feel like sharing your thoughts on it, you can always send us a review, photos, or video.

So here we go:
