Events in Amman, March 28 – April 3

الأحد 28 آذار 2010

ghetto africano[1] The annual Amman International Theater Festival opened yesterday, on world theater day, and for the next ten days brings us a cultural agenda jam-packed with great and diverse performances from Jordan and around the world. It includes theater, music, film, painting, and poetry.

Another exciting event, albeit of a different type, to watch out for, is the Jordan Rally which kicks off this Thursday. It will be the second time Jordan hosts the FIA World Rally Championship, after a year out in 2009.

You also have three days of circassian dance from Al-Jeel club celebrating its 60th anniversary, a day of discovery at Jabal Al-Qalaa, stories from Weibdeh, and you have Amman’s weekly regulars; with talks, films, and live music. Don’t forget to keep an eye on our calendar section, and as usual, post your events there or email them to us.
