Events in Amman, Feb 27 – March 3

الأحد 27 شباط 2011

Tonight the Italian Cultural Association SOCIETA’ DANTE ALIGHIERI together with the Amman Municipality presents the award-winning Italian jazz trio “Luca Aquino Icaro” along with Jordanian band Yacoub Abu Ghosh and the Stage Heroes in concert at the Hussein Cultural Center.

You also have the “Image Festival” this week, organized by the French Institute in partnership with Darat al-Tasweet and the Greater Amman Municipality, featuring exhibitions by 25 French and Jordanian photographers in 15 different venues in Amman.

Join an interactive discussion tomorrow on “the Role of the Arts in Civic Engagement” at the Landmark Hotel, and don’t miss this month’s Amman Tech Tuesdays on, you guessed it, Tuesday; where speakers will tackle how technology is being utilized towards activism and reform.

You have the chance to participate in a unique choir, called the Complaints Choir, where people collaboratively write lyrics, compose music, and perform in a concert that will take place this Wednesday at Al-Balad theater.

For details on these events and more, read on.
