Events in Amman, April 8 – 14

The “Entre Cineastas- Cinema Caravan of Arab and Latin American Women Directors” returns for the second time to Amman, in cooperation with the Royal Film Commission, to show a new set of films from the Arab world, Spain and Latin America. It starts tonight with two documentaries, one about the Jerusalem airport, and another about the life of Chilean author Isabel Allende.

Naomi Tutu, human rights activist and daughter of Desmond Tutu, is in Amman this week and will be giving a talk at the Columbia University Middle East Research Center tomorrow on reconciliation in apartheid South Africa.
