أكثر من خمس سنوات ونصف مرت على تأسيس حبر في أيار ٢٠٠٧، وأكثر من ثلاثة سنوات مرت منذ غيّرنا تصميم الموقع ليواكب المرحلة التي كنا قد وصلناها في ٢٠٠٩. اليوم وصلنا مرحلة جديدة. كبر حبر من مساحة لإعلام المواطن إلى مشروع إعلامي ذي نشاطات متنوعة، يجمع ما بين نشر مقالات ومشاركات وسرد القصص والتحاور حول قضايا تهم المجتمع، مع إنتاج محتوى يسعى لإيصال المعلومة بشكل جديد، إضافة لتصميم مشاريع تدريبية وبحثية في مجال تكنولوجيا الإعلام الرقمي ووسائط التواصل الاجتماعي، وتنظيم نشاطات تجمع الناس خارج الفضاء الإلكتروني مثل نقاشات علامة المربع ولقاءات حبر التصويرية وغيرها من الفعاليات التي تهدف لحشد مجتمع أكثر تفاعلاً.
من هنا وجدنا أن الوقت قد حان لإعادة تصميم الموقع ليعكس هذه المرحلة، وحاولنا أن نستجيب للتعليقات والملاحظات المختلفة التي كانت تصلنا عن الشكل السابق. نأمل أن نكون قد نجحنا في معالجة أهم تلك السلبيات، ونأمل أن تستمروا بإرسال ملاحظاتكم إذ أن عملية التطوير والتحسين ستبقى مستمرة.
هنالك طرق عديدة بإمكانكم من خلالها المشاركة مع حبر، سواء من خلال نشر مقالات أو صور أو تقارير فيديو، أو المساعدة في تنظيم ورشات عمل أو لقاءات حوارية، أو الانضمام لمجموعة “لقاءات حبر” التصويرية، أو التعاون من أجل إنتاج قصص وتقارير ورسوم توضيحية (إنفوغرافيكس) من بيانات حول قضايا محلية مهمة. نسعى في حبر لتسليط الضوء على قضايا وإتاحة معلومات قد لا تنال التغطية اللازمة في الإعلام التقليدي، ونحاول التواصل مع مجتمعات محلية في مختلف أنحاء الأردن، لذلك لا تترددوا بالاتصال بنا إذا كان لديكم قصة تريدون مشاركتها أو فكرة تعتقدون أن بإمكان حبر تنفيذها.
نحن في حبر نؤمن إيماناً عميقاً بحرية التعبير وحق الوصول إلى المعلومة، نؤمن بأن الأفراد والجماعات يجب أن يمتلكوا الأدوات والحرية لسرد قصصهم والتعبير عن آرائهم، وأن المجتمع لن ينهض بدون حوار مفتوح جريء وصريح بين أفراده. هذه هي القيم التي نسعى لتطبيقها من خلال نشاطاتنا المختلفة، وندعوكم لمشاركتنا بها.

It’s been over five years since we launched 7iber in May 2007, and more than three years since our last redesign in 2009.
Today, 7iber has grown from a citizen-media platform into a media organization that encompasses different activities, including providing a space for different local voices, opinions and stories; producing creative informative multimedia content; designing training and research projects in the field of social media and digital storytelling, and organizing activities like the Hashtag Debates, photography meetups or other events that seek to rally a more engaged community.
That’s why we felt that the time has come to redesign the website to better reflect the work that we do, and accommodate the growing diversity of contributions we receive from the public. We’ve tried to respond to the different comments we’ve received over the years from our community, and we hope that we’ve managed to overcome some of the key issues. We hope that you will send us your comments and feedback on the new look so we can keep improving on it.
There are different ways you can get involved with 7iber, whether by submitting your articles, photos, or videos, or helping to organize workshops and debates, or joining the 7iber Meetups group, or collaborating to produce stories, reports, or infographics on important local issues. We always seek to shed light on stories or information that might be overlooked by the mainstream media, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you have a story to share or an idea that you think fits with what 7iber does.
We strongly believe in freedom of expression and access to information. We believe that people and communities should have the tools and the freedom to craft and share their own narratives, and that society cannot progress without an open honest conversation. These are the values we aim to uphold through our different activities, and we invite you to join us.
