ولد منير الطرودي عام 1968 وتعلم الغناء العربي الكلاسيكي في سن مبكر، حتى استهواه الغناء الصوفي وبرع فيه. واعتمادا على خبرته الموسيقية تمكن الطرودي، وبالتعاون مع العديد من الموسيقيين العالميين، من إعادة الاعتبار للموسيقى البدوية التي عانت من التعميش لسنوات عديدة. قابل الجمهور لأول مرة من خلال فرقة “الحضرة” في عام 1994 بقيادة فاضل الجزيري، وحصل على شهادته في الموسيقى العربية عام 1998. بالتعاون مع موسيقي الجاز الشهير فرانسي تروفاز قدم طرودي ثلاثة البومات موسيقية من إصدار شركة “بلو نوت”. ومنذ ذلك الوقت تعاون مع العديد من الفنانين العالميين من بينهم العازف الفرنسي سيغ الذي قدم معه ألبوم “تواصل” في عام 2014 الذي يضم موسيقى الكترونية- صوتية تجريبية. ومن بين الفنانين الذين تعاون معهم أنتونيو ماييلو (ايطاليا)، كمال مسلم (لبنان-الأردن)، ميركان ديدي (تركيا)، سبيد كارافان (الجزائر-فرنسا)، وغيرهم. أما آخر مشروعاته الموسيقية فهي بعنوان “ناغوز”.
Mounir TROUDI
Mounir Troudi was born in 1968 and learnt classical Arabic singing at an early age, after which he decided to focus on Sufi music. In cooperation with several international artists and based on his musical experience he managed to reclaim the Bedouin music that was marginalized by political regimes. His first encounter with his audience was through “Al Hadra” group in 1994 led by renowned Sufi artist Fadhel Jaziri. Four years later he received his BA in Arabic music. In cooperation with famous Jazz musician Francais Truffaz he signed three Albums produced under the “Blue Note” label: “Mantis” in 2001, “Saloua” in 2005, and “Face to Face” in 2006. Since then he has cooperated with several international musicians including French multi-instrumentalist Sig with whom he produced “Tawassol” in 2014, an album of experimental electro-acoustic music, and Antonio Maeillo (Italy), Kamal Musallam (Lebanon-Jordan), Mercan Dede (Turkey), Speed Caravan (Algiers-France), and others. His most recent musical project is entitled “Nagouz”.
