Marc Perrenoud Trio
Marc Perrenoud, born in 1981 in Geneva, started playing the piano at the age of 6, in Zurich. He studied at the Conservatoire de Genève up until 2001 and obtained his diploma in 2005 at the Ecole de jazz de Lausanne.
Perrenoud is most certainly one of the finest musicians of his generation. Along with the other members in his trio – Cyril Regamey on drums, and Jeremy Bruyere on the double bass, he explores the standard jazz repertoire in an impressively new and truly original manner. The trio’s repertoire equally includes Marc’s own compositions. The trio released their second album “Two Lost Churches” in March 2015.
