في الفيلم التسجيلي «صوت البحر»، تتابع المخرجة نجوم الغانم محاولات إقناع سيف الزبادي، أحد أشهر مؤدي الفنون الغنائية البحرية في دولة الإمارات وذلك للخروج في رحلة بحرية أخيرة تتطلب قيادته وإشرافه.
يأخذنا الفيلم إلى أحداث وذكريات منسية وبموازاة قضايا الراهن وتحوّلاته. وهو غوص في الذاتيّ لكشف العالم الخاص، وتوغل في الحميمي لمعاينة أحوال بيئة ومجتمع وأناس. لن يكون سيف الزبادي وحيداً في رحلته تلك. فرغبته في عبور أخير لخور أم القيوين، كي يغني أغنيات فولكلورية للصيادين، ستتحقّق عبر منافذ أخرى، تكشف معانٍ عديدة عن الشيخوخة والوحدة والصداقة والعلاقات القائمة بين أكثر من جيل داخل عائلة واحدة.
يُعرض الفيلم في مسرح الرينبو، بحضور المخرجة نجوم الغانم.

In her documentary film, director Nujoom Alghanem follows the possibilities of convincing Saif Al-Zibadi, the most famous folklore sea singers in the United Arab Emirates to go on the last sea voyage, which requires his leadership and supervision. The film takes us to incidences and forgotten memories in parallel with current issues and transformations.
The film represents self-immersion to explore a private world and delving into intimate feelings to explore plain conditions, society and people. Saif Al-Zibadi won’t be alone on this trip. His wish to cross Um Al-Qaiwain River for the last time, in order to sing fishermen’s folk songs, will come true through other means, uncovering numerous meanings of old age, loneliness, friendship and cross-generational relations within the same family
The film will be screened at the Rainbow Theatre, in the presence of the director Nujoom Alghanem.
