The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, 126 musicians strong, goes on tour – Shanghai, Hong Kong, Seoul, Beijing, Tokyo, Taipei. They are accompanied by the filmmaker Thomas Grube (“Rhythm is it!”). Who are the people behind this unique orchestra? What does their conductor, Sir Simon Rattle, tell them seconds before they go on stage to face an audience of 1,000? What moves people when they listen to European classical music?
Before the film there will be a brief introduction, as well as a discussion afterwards.
