محطة الشمس (2014)
سامان سالور، 90 دقيقة، دراما، بالفارسية مع ترجمة إلى الإنجليزية، إيران.
في قرية منعزلة في جبال إيران، يعيش حسن داخل مقصورة قطار محترقة ومهجورة يمتلكها قادر، وهو رجل عجوز يعمل في السكة الحديدية. يتصادق حسن مع “أصغر” الملقب بالملاك – بائع متجول على متن قطار كثيراً ما يزور حسن ويمضي الوقت برفقته.
عندما ينهار جسر قريب، يجد كل من حسن وأصغر مصدراً جديداً للدخل عن طريق التشغيل اليدوي لعربة تلفريك بالية، وذلك لنقل الركاب عبر النهر. يتيح ذلك لهما فرصة لقاء مجموعة متنوعة من الناس، عبر جولات النقل التي يوفرانها، ويحمل كل من أولئك قصص وأسباب مختلفة للعبور إلى الضفة المقابلة.
ذات يوم، يتلقى قادر إشعارا من مكتب تابع للسكك الحديدية بتوقيفه عن العمل وإخلاء المقصورة التي كانت هي بمثابة منزل لهم. فيتتبع الفيلم حياتهم وهم يعانون من الوحدة وقساوة الواقع.
عُرض الفيلم في مهرجان بوسان السينمائي الدولي في دورته ال19.

Sun Station (2014)
Saman Salour, 90 min, Drama, Farsi with English subtitles, Iran.
In an isolated village in the mountains of Iran, Hassan lives in a burnt-out and abandoned train compartment with Qader; an old man who works for the railway and acts as Hassan’s landlord. He befriends with “Asghar the Angel”, a pedlar on the train, who visits him regularly and keeps him company.
When a nearby bridge collapses, Hassan and Asghar find a new source of income operating a worn manual cable car, in order to ferry passengers across the river. This allows them to meet a diverse group of people, as they give them rides, where each of them carries a different story and a different reason to pass to the other side of the river.
One day, Qader gets a notice from the Railway Bureau to stop working and leave the compartment they all call home. The film follows their lives as they experience loneliness and the harshness of reality.
The film was screened at the 19th Busan International Film Festival.
