تعدد الزيجات هو محور هذا الفيلم الساخر، الذي يحكي قصة بائع مجوهرات ثري من فاس متزوج من ثلاث نساء. العلاقات هادئة وعادية في المنزل إلى أن يقرر الحاج بنموسى أن يطلق زوجته الشابة الجميلة للمرة الثالثة. وتبدأ المشاكل حين يحاول استعادتها.
نال فيلم “البحث عن زوج امرأتي” نجاحا تجاريا باهراً وحقق فوزا لافتا في المهرجانات العالمية إذ حصل على جوائز عديدة منها: جائزة الجمهور في مهرجان مونبيليه عام 93، جائزة لجنة التحكيم في المهرجان الإفريقي الرابع عشر في واغادوغو، جائزة أفضل سيناريو أفضل ممثل وممثلة في في المهرجان الوطني للفيلم في طنجة عام 1995.
Looking for my Wife’s Husband (1993)

Polygamy is the subject of satire in this movie, which tells the story of a rich merchant from Fes and his three wives. Relationships seem harmonious until a spat leads the merchant to expel his youngest and beautiful wife for the third time. Trouble begins when he wants to take her back.
“Looking for my Wife’s Husband” has been a huge commercial and festival’s success. It won several awards, including: Audience Prize at Montpellier in 93, Jury Prize in Ouagadougou 14th Pan-African Festival, Best Script, Best Actor and Best Actress at the National Film Festival of Tangier in 1995.
