Cornelia is a bad mother; she has a bad relationship with her son, she blames all of that on her son’s girlfriend. Cornelia is a wealthy successful architect. She gave her son all the privileges in the post-Ceaușescu era. Yet he drifts and lacks focus, he wants nothing to do with his mother. When he hits and kills a child while speeding and get arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, Cornelia rush in to his rescue.
