“مايكل” صبي لا يتمتع بالشعبية وليس برياضي بارع أو حتى طالب مجتهد في المدرسة. ولكنه لا يكترث لذلك لأن أمنيته الوحيدة هي أن يلفت نظر زميلته “ستيلا” التي يرى فيها فتاة الأحلام. يبدو أنها لا تلاحظ وجوده أبداً، فهو يشعر وكأنه غير مرئي بالنسبة لها. ولسخرية القدر وفي ليلة مصيرية، يذهب “مايكل” إلى حفلة تنكرية يتعرض فيها للمضايقة المستمرة من قبل المتنمرين في مدرسته، وعندها يكتشف أنه بالفعل يمتلك قوة خارقة بأن يصبح غير مرئي. لدى اكتشافه لحقيقة عائلته، تنقلب حياة “مايكل” الرتيبة إلى مغامرة فريدة فهو يتحول من صبي مهزوم يتعرض للتنمر ليصبح بطلاً خارقاً.

حاز الفيلم جائزة ديفيد دي دوناتيلو لأفضل مؤثرات بصرية وجائزة الشريط الفضي في النقابة الوطنية الإيطالية للصحفيين السينمائيين. كما عُرض في مهرجان سياتل السينمائي الدولي.

The Invisible Boy

Michele is neither popular, nor athletic, nor a particularly brilliant student at school. But this matters little to Michele whose only wish is to be noticed by his classmate Stella, the girl of his dreams and object of all his attention. But she does not seem to know he exists. He feels invisible to her. Ironically, one fateful evening, at a costume party, he discovers that he does in fact possess the power to become invisible. Michele’s subsequent discovery that his family and his background are not what they seem will transform the monotony of his daily routine into the adventure of a lifetime. From class punching-ball to avenger: a new superhero is born.

The film has won the David di Donatello Awards for Best Visual Effects, the Silver Ribbon Award for at the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists and was screened at Seattle International Film Festival.
