Captain Abu Raed, Jordan’s entry for the the 2009 Best Foreign Film Oscar, opens in a special Academy Award-qualifying one-week run starting tomorrow (Nov. 7) at the Laemmle Music Hall in Beverly Hills on Wilshire just East of Doheny. The film has won the World Cinema Audience Award at Sundance this year along with 15 other major festival awards and has just been picked up for US distribution for release in February by NeoClassics Films.
