It’s been around six months since protests demanding reform started in Jordan, and over five months since the appointment of Maarouf Al-Bakhit as Prime Minister following protests against the previous government. Political reform was a high priority in the King’s appointment letter to the new PM. In March the National Dialogue committee was formed, and in April, another committee was formed to revise constitutional amendments.
