ArchitectureInMotion is back this week with “Visual Acoustics“, a 2008 documentary film which celebrates the life and career of architectural photographer, Julius Shulman. Shulman, who passed away in 2009, captured the work of nearly every modern and progressive architect since the 1930s including Frank Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra, John Lautner, and Frank Gehry. The screening will take place on 7iber Cafe’s roof (Tuesday 10:00 PM).
Obaider band will perform its new album “Return My Soul” at the Rainbow Theater.The album was inspired by the 1000 year-old Andalucía Arabic poem, and modern Arabic poetry, including flamenco Oriental fusion (Thursday 10:00 PM).
