Columbia Global Centers | Middle East will host His Excellency Peter Millett, British Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, for a public talk as part of the Center’s ongoing speaker series.
Ambassador Millet was the British High Commissioner to Cyprus from 2005-2010, the Director of Security in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 2002-2005, whereby he oversaw all aspects of security for British diplomatic missions overseas.
Ambassador Millett also served as Deputy Head of Mission in Athens from 1997-2001, Head of Personnel Policy in the FCO from 1993-1996 and held the post of First Secretary in the UK Representative Office to the European Union in Brussels, representing the UK on all energy and nuclear issues between 1989 and 1993.
