تدور أحداث الفيلم في منتصف التسعينات في مقاطعة جنوب الجزائر العاصمة حيث تجمع الجيرة بين جابر ويمينة، إلا أنهما لا يعرفان بعضهما البعض.
كما هو الحال لكليهما، فمن الصعب جداً أن يجتمع الفتيان والفتيات، لدرجة أنهما حتى لا يحلمان بهذا الأمر. ومع ذلك، في غضون أيام قليلة تواجههما أحداث عنيفة تغير مصائرهما الى الأبد.
حاز الفيلم تنويه خاص من لجنة التحكيم في مهرجان كليرمونت- فيراند الدولي للأفلام القصيرة وجائزة لجنة التحكيم الخاصة في مهرجان نامور الدولي للأفلام الناطقة بالفرنسية وجائزة أفضل فيلم قصير في مهرجان قرطبة وفي مهرجان وهران للفيلم العربي وأفضل انتاج في مهرجان أبو ظبي السينمائي الدولي. كما تم ترشيح الفيلم لجائزة باردينو الذهبية- فهود الغد في مهرجان لوكارنو السينمائي الدولي.
In an estate in the south of Algiers, in the middle of the nineties, Djaber and Yamina are neighbors, but do not know each other.
For one as for the other, it is so difficult to meet between girls and boys, that they almost stopped dreaming about it. In a few days nevertheless, distant violence explodes in front of them, modifying forever their fates.
The film has won the Special Mention of the Jury at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the Jury Special Prize at Namur International Festival of French-Speaking Film, Best Short Film at Cordoba Film Festival and at Oran Festival for Arab Films and Best Production at Abu Dhabi International Film Festival. It was also nominated for Golden Pardino – Leopards of Tomorrow at Locarno International Film Festival.

The film won the Special Mention at the Short Film Competition at the Festival of Algeria for Maghreb Cinema. It also participated at the Short Film Corner at Cannes International Film Festival.
