بدي ألقي كلمة بناسا (2014(

يعيش خالد، وهو طفل موهوب يبلغ 13 عاماً، في مدينة الزرقاء في الأردن. يقضي خالد وقته رفقة مكعب الذكاء يسابق الزمن ويحله في 30 ثانية، وهو مولع بالفلك منذ أن كان في السابعة من عمره ويحلم أن يصبح عالم فلك، لكن سماء وطنه لا تتسع لحلمه الكبير. فلا المدرسة ترعى محباً للفلك ولا صبية الحي الذين يسخرون منه وينادونه “آينشتاين” كلما ذكر لهم شيئا عن هذا العلم ولا الجامعات توفر دراسة متخصصة ولا هناك من يدعم مراصد فلكية محترفة.
اعتاد خالد أن يراقب السماء من سطح بيته في مدينته المكتظة، ولكنه بالكاد يرى ما يتوق لرؤيته. بدعم من أهله، يحصل على تليسكوب صغير وتكبر معه لهفته للمعرفة بهذا العلم الساحر. يلاحظ أستاذ اللغة الإنجليزية ولع خالد بمكعب الذكاء يقترح المعلم أن يدرب الطلاب في المدرسة على حل تلك المكعبات، وعندها تقام أول مسابقة لحل مكعب الذكاء في مدرستهم. ولكن هل يرضي هذا الإنجاز شغف خالد وحلمه الذي يطاول السماء؟

I Want to Speak at NASA (2014)

Khalid is a smart 13- year- old kid, who lives in Zarqa city in Jordan. He solves the Rubik’s cube in 30 seconds and he has loved astronomy since he was seven and dreams of becoming an astronomer. But Khalid lives in an environment that is not much supporting, in a country that does not teach astronomy or have a real telescope, in a neighborhood where his friends mock him by calling him “Einstein” and goes to a school with poor resources, where he can’t find a teacher that cares about his dream.
Khalid gazes at the sky every night on the roof of his house in a crowded city, but he can barely see what he wants to see! With the support of his family, he gets a telescope and then creates a scientists’ room at home.
One day at school, Khalid’s English teacher notices that he loves to play with the Rubik’s cube. The teacher suggests that they make a contest at school and starts training the kids, where the first Rubik’s contest takes place at their school. But is that enough for a big dreamer like Khalid, whose dream is as high as the sky?
The film has participated at Aljazeera International Documentary Film Festival.
فرصة مريم (2013(
هنادي عليان، 14 دقيقة، روائي قصير، بالعربية مع ترجمة إلى الإنجليزية.
يتتبع الفيلم قصة مريم، وهي امرأة عزباء خجولة، تخاف من المجازفات واعتادت على العيش بمفردها، فهي لا تبذل جهداً للتعرف على أشخاص جدد. في يوم من الأيام، تجد مريم باقة من الزهور داخل منزلها ممن يبدو أنه معجب سري. يؤثر هذا الحدث، مع بضعة أشياء أخرى، على مجرى حياة مريم لتخوض مشاعر مختلطة من الخوف والحماس والسعادة والتردد.
شارك الفيلم في عدد من المهرجانات السينمائية الدولية منها: مهرجان الفيلم العربي في مالمو ومهرجان “كام” للأفلام ومهرجان بغداد السينمائي الدولي ومهرجان طنجة ومهرجان “Regards sur le Cinema du Monde” ومهرجان أفلام المرأة العربية.
Mariam’s Chance (2013)
Hanadi Elyan, 14 min, Short Fiction, Arabic with English subtitles.
The film follows Mariam, a single woman living on her own, who is afraid of taking chances and has gotten used to the idea of living alone. One day, she finds a bouquet of flowers inside her house from what seems to be a secret admirer; this action and a few others make her go through a mixed set of feelings including being scared, intrigued, happy and threatened.
The film has participated in several international film festivals including: Malmo Arab Film Festival, CAM Film Festival, Baghdad International Film Festival, Tangiers International Film Festival, “Regards sur le Cinema du Monde” Festival and Arab Women Film Festival.
أوتيل الزعتري (2014)
زيد بقاعين وميس سلمان، 16 دقيقة، وثائقي، بالعربية مع ترجمة الى الإنجليزية.
يقدم الفيلم لمحة عن حياة وواقع حال أربعة لاجئين سوريين من درعا يعيشون في مخيم الزعتري للاجئين، في الأردن. يستخدم هذا الفيلم الوثائقي الدرامي تقنيات سينمائية استراتيجية لرسم لوحات لأربعة لاجئين – طفلين وبالغين – ممن يقيمون داخل المخيم. لا يقدم الفيلم خطاباً سياسياً حول النزاع في سوريا، وقد لا يحتوي على حبكة واضحة، وإنما يعطي نظرة فاحصة في جوهر أولئك اللاجئين الأربعة وكيف أثرت الحرب والتجربة التي يخوضونها على حياتهم.
Hotel Zaatari (2014)

The film provides a glimpse into the lives of four Syrian refugees, from Dera’a, in Al- Zaatari refugee camp – Jordan. “Hotel Zaatari” is a dramatized documentary using cinematic strokes to paint portraits of four Syrian refugees – two adults and two children – residents of the camp. It does not promise a plot or a story line, nor does it present or represent a political discourse about the conflict in Syria. What it does offer, however, is a close look into the essence of these four refugees, and how the war and their experience as refugees have impacted them.

يُصوّر الفيلم مواجهة بين محقق إسرائيلي، يعمل في المطار، وامرأة فلسطينية- أمريكية، وهي مؤدية رقصات باستخدام النار، لدى محاولتها دخول البلاد.
