شرح معنى أطلال ليلى:
ظاهرة تغلغلت بين ثنايا العصر الجاهلي و أصبحت محط أنظاره هي ظاهرة الوقوف على الأطلال ويمكن أن يتلخص تعريف هذه الظاهرة بأن الوقوف على الأطلال هو زيارة المكان الذي ما زال به منزل الحبيبة أو القبيلة وتذكر الماضي .وبعض المسرين يرون أن الوقوف على الأطلال أو بالأطلال هو طقس ديني جاهلي وهذا سر ثباته في مقدمة القصيدة الجاهلية فالوقوف على الأطلال في الشعر الجاهلي هو بمثابة المقدمة الموسيقية للسيمفونية في الموسيقى ويعد امرؤ القيس أول من استخدم شعر الوقوف على الأطلال.

Standing on Lailas ruins ‘’Obaider Band’’
a phenomenon that has permeated between the folds of the pre-Islamic age, which means standing on the ruins (a place that contains the poet’s memories with their lover), with the glorifying his lover’s beauty and perfection.
Project idea:
The Arabic and Spanish cultures have always been entertwined, and Obaider Band are showing the musical roots that make those two cultures unique.
Since the time that Ziryab moved from Iraq to Andalucía, he has been a great influence on Spanish music, and is considered to be the founder of the Andalusian music traditions of North Africa. Before he arrived to Andalusia he has lived and learned in Iraq which had a big influence on his music.
