ثلاث نساء وثلاث حروب وحلم واحد. إنها قصة عالمية تحكي عن شجاعة مجموعة من النساء وبقائهن على قيد الحياة في أعقاب الحرب.
“لانجا” صحافية تعمل في العراق وتقدم بلا خوف ملجأ للنساء اللواتي يتعرضن للضرب والحرق والتهديد من قبل عائلاتهن وتعمل على إسماع أصواتهن. أما “نيلي” فهي تدير جمعية تعاونية للنساء في الأحياء الفقيرة في ليبيريا لتمكين المرأة من خلال التعليم والتدريب المهني والعملي لكسب المال لأسرهن. وفي جمهورية أبخازيا الانفصالية، تقدم “مايا”، وهي رئيسة مجموعة تُعنى بصحة المرأة وتدافع عن حقوقها، الرعاية الطبية للنساء والفتيات في القرى النائية بينما تناهض العادات القديمة التي تتمثل في “خطف العروس” وتؤدي إلى الزواج القسري.
آلاف الأميال تفصل تلك النساء، لكن التحديات المشتركة لتحقيق حياة أفضل تجمعهن.

Three women, three wars and one dream. A universal story of women’s courage and survival in the aftermath of war.
Lanja is a journalist in Iraq, fearlessly giving refuge and voice to women beaten, burnt and threatened to death by their own families. Nelly runs a women’s cooperative in the slums of Liberia, empowering women through education and hands-on ways to make money for their families. And in the breakaway republic of Abkhazia, Maia, director of a women’s health group fighting for women’s rights, brings medical care to women and girls in remote villages while battling “bride kidnappings” and other archaic customs that lead to forced marriage.
While thousands of miles apart, the women are united by similar challenges to fulfilling their shared dream of a better life.
