جاء الحب بين جواكين وانجيلا من النظرة الاولى، و تقرر المصير. لبضعة أشهر، كان زواجهما رائعا وعندما أصبحت انجيلا حاملا شعرا بالنعمة. ولكن كل شيء تغير بعد ولادة الطفل.
بدأ جواكين بإظهار الجوانب المتخفية من شخصيته والتي تمثلت بالغيرة والغضب. و بعد فترة وجيزة بدأ يمارس العنف الجسدي على انجيلا. فحاولت في البداية أن تتدارك الامور الى ان ازداد الوضع سوءا. شعرت بالإحباط من قبل مؤسسات لم تقدم لها مساعدة فقررت أن تتخذ زمام الأمور.

قُتلت باهار بعد مرور تسع سنوات على زواجها وعائلتها مقتنعة بان زوجها السابق هو القاتل..
أصيب والداها بصدمة قوية عندما علموا بالقتل الوحشي الذي تعرضت له ابنتهما الوحيدة أمام ابنتيها. وبقيت العائلة تتحسر لعدم تمكنها من انقاذها. من خلال النظر في رسائلها ومذكراتها يحاول والداها معرفة كيف جرت الأمور بهذه الطريقة المأساوية. بعد دفن باهار في تركيا وجد والداها جملة كتبتها في مذكراتها تقول فيها: “لقد ارتكبت غلطة واحدة وهي أنني أحببت”.

Bahar (Spring) is murdered after nine years of marriage. Her family is convinced that her ex-husband is the one who killed Bahar. Her Turkish parents are deeply shocked with the brutal killing of their only daughter, with their two granddaughters as witnesses. Bahar’s parents, sisters-in-law and brothers are left with numerous questions and the pain of having been unable to save her. Going through Bahar’s diary notes and letters, the family tries to reconstruct how this could happen. After her funeral in Turkey, they find this heartfelt cry in her diary: ‘I have committed only one sin: I have loved’.
