Job Opportunity with 7iber: Program Assistant

7iber is looking to hire a program assistant to help administer and support many of the exciting and engaging projects we are implementing. The successful individual will possess the ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively and work in an exciting and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing contacts with guests, speakers and external visitors
  • Administering and reporting on program activities
  • Responding to requests for trainings and events
  • Assisting program leads with project coordination, event organization and documentation
  • Maintaining mailing lists and outreach
  • Other duties as directed by program leads

Required Skills

  • Fluent Arabic and English
  • Native with email, social media, and the Internets
  • Resourceful and motivated
  • Organized, and detail-oriented

This position has the potential to grow, and we are looking for a program assistant who can show initiative and contribute creatively to all operations and projects.

The program assistant will reports to program leads and the executive director.

We work in three areas: 1) we create original informative multimedia content and provide a platform for critical conversation, 2) conduct research on Internet governance and digital rights, and 3) operate a co-working office, and an events space, including a cafe.
