7iber Wins A Jordan Web Award!

Last night was a milestone for 7iber as it received an honorary award at the third annual, 2008 Jordan Web Awards in Amman. It is perhaps the first time that a blog-based, citizen media project has been awarded in Jordan and all of us at 7iber are deeply humbled to be bestowed with such a prize. We would like to thank the Jordan Web Awards Committee as well as the organizers, Mediscope, for honoring 7iber so tremendously. However, being a citizen-generated site, we would also like to thank the writers and readers that make 7iber what it is. Without the citizen, there would be no content, so this award goes out to every one of them.
