We’re in the last 10 days of Ramadan, and you have 10 days to enjoy the Citadel nights, with their souk, café, and classical Arabic music every night. This week’s schedule includes Macadi Nahhas, Atallah Hindaileh (who does a great job covering Abdel Halim Hafez songs), Bayt Al Ruwwad, and others. Be sure to also check out the cultural evenings by the directorate of theater and arts at their outdoor theater in Luweibdeh.
You also have a number of ongoing exhibitions at local galleries, including an exhibition that opens tomorrow at Nabad Gallery by students of arts and design from the University of Jordan.
Tonight, 7iber’s book club, Inkitab, discusses Youssef Zidan’s Azazeel, and the author will join the discussion live from Cairo via skype. The whole session will be live streamed on JordanDays.tv. [Please note that the discussion will be in Arabic].
